Lights, Camera, Action!

Not long now until our first shoot day, and we're all very excited. It is also important to celebrate and remember that this year is 50 years since the part decriminalisation of homosexuality. It is scary to hear though, that even though it has been 50 years, (Which is not that long ago) that homophobia is on the rise in the UK.

Approximately 40% of LGBT people have mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression, which is an alarming number.

So we must remember why it is important to spread awareness about such LGBT issues, either that be with political action, such as protests and demonstrations, or through the arts, such as writing or film making in this case.

I think we still have a very long way to go in tolerance and the law.

Now then, I'm off to find myself a nice Glossy, and try to keep away from the Lilly Law ;-)
